I learned how relationships, career, physical activity, and spirituality play a major role in how we eat and how what we eat plays a significant role in how we live. I learned how to ask even more specific questions to get to root of the physical symptoms.

I learned that you can only take other people as far as you are willing to go. I learned how to facilitate change at the level of beliefs and identity in others and myself.

I learned how to guide people to complete unresolved grief using the amazing Grief Recovery Method. I then learned how to help other professionals become Certified Grief Recovery Specialists. I learned and am learning how to teach, hold space, love, and inspire people who want to help other people recover from grief.

The Girl behind the Biz

Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, I really consider myself a global nomad. After living in Atlanta, Costa Rica, Chile, Brazil, Panama, Seattle, Austin, and traveling all over the world, my husband, Aaron, our daughter, Ayla, and I moved to Hood River, Oregon to experience the epic beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Since moving back to the United States in 2012, I started my business, had a baby, and have now completed my first book. We love to explore, travel, and experience the world.

When we are home I love to go to yoga classes, take walks, host dinner parties, play with Ayla, have coffee dates, meet new people, plan our next trip, watch fun shows, and just hang. In truth, I love to work. I absolutely love what I do. I love connecting deeply with people who have experienced loss and who want to thrive again. My days are full, and I feel so grateful that I get to do what I do.

Losing my mom has led me here, and I feel lucky that I get to honor her each day with my work. I have to admit, I feel closer to mom now that I am thriving than I ever did when I was pretending to be fine.

As hard and crazy as it is sometimes, I love life.
